The recent updates to the Building Safety Act have increased obligations, responsibilities and demands on stakeholders and owners alike. Quaysquare Consult Ltd supports a portfolio of services to manage these obligations on behalf of clients from project managing a fire remediation scheme on a concept-to-completion basis to a full risk management strategy and long-term external facade maintenance package, we have the expertise and resources to deliver it all.

Inspection & Engineering
Autonomous intrusive structural safety & compliance inspections complemented by detailed & extensive documented evidence reporting including expert witness statements.
Commercial & Tender Audits
Correlation of tender documentation ready to be distributed to approved trade contractors, packages are prepared in accordance with JCT criteria. Design & develop full product specifications for the replacement elements of the cladding. (Including, but not limited to, insulation, fire barriers, flashings, penetrations, substructure and interfaces as appropriate). Ensure the building will meet the manufacturer's recommendations and new building regulations. Preparing outline scope documentation detailing removal phasing and reinstatement. Site planning, organisation and logistics. Wastage plan for removal of debris and stripped materials. Definition of the contract period for design, procurement and construction.
Tender Auditing
Scrutinizing tender returns to ensure performance criteria compliance, planning and variations, analyzing like-for-like comparisons ensuring high-value engineering is present.
Access Management
We partner with many of the larger scaffolding, mast climber and MEWP key supply chain members and therefore can offer a full site survey, design and implementation.
HSEQ
We can provide a fully accredited NEBOSH IOSH resource to undertake weekly and monthly inspections for client/funder reporting, risk management, CDM & F10 compliancy and auditing.
Client & Resident Liaison
Coordination with residents with the outline of proposed works, attending a resident meeting to explain the proposal and answer questions. Discuss any concerns the tenants may have not to mention communications and narratives on the schemes which are paramount on projects of this nature.
Construction Management
High-level management of the trade contractors ensuring compliance with the agreed scope, coordination of logistics, access equipment & and planning. Ensuring health and safety requirements are met, and confirming products are installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Confirming installations and components meet testing criteria, combined with photographic evidence. We are flexible with the number of days that we attend the site and can provide anything from one surveyor to a full construction management team under a standard form of contract.
Snagging & PC sign-off
Ensuring works are completed to our stringent level of quality control, and coordination with building control. Signing off the project and handing over all necessary O&M and Construction documentation.
Maintenance
We are able to undertake periodic checks to satisfy the requirements of manufacturer's warranties along with cleaning regimes and defect remediation.
